JACKSON, CHARLOTTE MURIEL POORE, age 74, of Alabaster, Alabama passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012. She was born November 16, 1937 in Jasper, Alabama to Mary Adeline Clark and Norman Eldridge Poore. Charlotte graduated from Walker High School in Jasper before completing studies at Sylacauga School of Nursing to become a Registered Nurse. She began her nursing career at Community Hospital in Jasper, then married David Jackson, and started nursing at Shelby Memorial Hospital in Alabaster, here she helped bring many babies into this world. Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Survivors include three daughters, Sherrie (Steve) Benson, Terrie (Eddy) Watts, and Susan (Mark) Pope; grandchildren, Perrie Watts, Jackson Watts, Coley Benson, Trudie Benson, Mary Mason Pope, and Marshall Pope; brother, Ronnie (Bonnie) Poore; sister, Betty (Willie) Hudson; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2012, Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama. Funeral Service: 7 p.m. Friday in Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham. Graveside Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012, Oakhill Cemetery in Jasper.
