PITTS, CLARA JEAN Clara Jean Pardi Pitts, age 78, of Birmingham, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Bernice Pardi; sisters, Phania Carbonie and Teresa Pardi; and brother, Tony Pardi. Survivors include Mrs. Pitts' husband of 57 years, Anthony Pitts; a daughter, Mary Theresa (Steven) Sparks; a son, Joseph (Shelly) Pitts; two grandsons, Joshua Sparks and Ryan Pitts; two granddaughters, Samantha Sparks and Alexandra Pitts; one brother, Albert Pardi; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., with 7 p.m. Wake Service, on Monday, September 26, 2011 at Mrs. Pitts' church, Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Our Lady of the Valley with Rev. Msgr. Paul Rohling officiating. Burial, Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham.
