Dauna Guthrie Koonce, 82, of Hoover, AL, passed away March 14, 2025, after a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Cornelius and Jimmy Guthrie; her son, Michael Koonce, and her brother, Terry Cornelius (Christie).
She is survived by her sister, Lisa Barnett and brother, Stephen Cornelius, and many cousins and nieces and nephews.
The family will have a private graveside on Saturday, April 12, at Southern Heritage Cemetery.
