Edna Bailey Rooks 93 of Chelsea, Al. passed away on April 26, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Timothy Rooks; parents, Arthur and Lavinia Bailey; grandchildren, John Wesley Rooks and Lindsey Michelle Rooks. She is survived by her sons, Timothy Rooks, John (Doris) Rooks, Frank (Donna) Rooks and Henry (Susie) Rooks; daughter, Louise Rooks Fox; grandchildren, Timothy Rooks, April Rooks, Jeanette Rooks, Jeffery Rooks, Christopher Rooks, Henry (Diaraye) Rooks, Allison London, Brett Rooks, Melody Foxx, Lynn Foxx and Cassandra Foxx; 3 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home beginning at 1pm, with her Celebration of Life Service starting at 2pm. Burial in Southern Heritage Cemetery.
