Elzie Quillin Kelley, 87, of Hoover, Alabama, left her earthly world to be with her Lord and Savior May 25, 2022.
She was born in Hope, Arkansas on March 14, 1935. She moved to Chicago where she met Oley Bryant Kelley. They were married on December 22, 1954. Soon after, they moved to Alabama.
Elzie was a full time mother to her three sons, a grandmother, and a great grandmother. She had the most beautiful and selfless soul. She would do anything to help others and she enjoyed cooking and fishing. But mostly, her love for the Lord and her love for her family was unmeasurable.
Elzie is survived by two sons, Wendell (Stephanie) of Douglasville, GA; Gary (Kellie) of Alabaster, AL; six grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 11:00, May 30, 2022 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL. 35124. Visitation will start at 10:00.
