BAILEY, ETTA PATTON, 76, passed away Friday, January 13, 2012 of natural causes at the Paliative and Comfort Care Unit of UAB Hospital, Birmingham, Alabama. She was born April 27, 1935 in Helena, Alabama as daughter of Charlie and Lilly Patton of St. Clair County. Ms. Bailey is survived by two sisters, Ms. Faye St. John and Ms. Jackie Poole; two children, son Michael Endfinger (wife Sue Endfinger) and daughter, Patsy Paladino; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Ms. Bailey lived in the Birmingham area and only recently moved from her home in Calera, Alabama to live with her daughter in Moody, Alabama. She loved to travel and spend time with family. The visitation will be from 12 noon to 1 p.m., with the 1 p.m. chapel service immediately following, at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama. Burial will follow in Elliotsville Cemetery directly behind First Presbyterian Church off Highway 119 in Alabaster, Alabama.
