Faye Ervin

Faye was born on February 4, 1941, in Fairfield, Alabama. She later married the love of her life, Charles Ervin, on November 13, 1981, sharing many cherished years together filled with dedication and family.

Faye spent her career working in the construction industry with MTC. Outside of work, she found great joy in sewing, cooking, coloring, and crafting. Her faith was central to her life, and she had a strong love for the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sara Humber; her father, Nick Griffin; her sisters, Linda Jones and Cathy Dean; and her brother, Joe Humber.

Faye is survived by her husband: Chuck Ervin; her children: Billy Franklin (Donna), Tammy Fincher (Allen), Ginger Franklin, and Rhonda Huff (Barry); her grandchildren: Kristy (Tony), Terri (Matt), Dusti (Adam), Jeremy, Cody (Felicia), Brandon (Stacey), and Casie (Johnathan); and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Faye will be remembered for her warmth, devotion to family, and unwavering faith. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

A visitation will be held at Southern Heritage Funeral Home on December 31, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery following the service.
