Buddy Cicio of Indian Springs AL passed away Saturday, peacefully at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Rosa Cicio, of Birmingham, AL, his brothers and sisters: Rose Cicio DiChara, Phillip Cicio, Lena Cicio Giardina, Josephine Cicio Bonino, Joseph Cicio II and his son in law, Danny C. Richardson. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Croce Tomburello Cicio, his four beloved children: Gina Rose James (Paul), Joann, Richardson (John), Jake Michael Cicio (Theresa), and Frank Joseph Cicio Jr. (Wendy), his four precious grandchildren: Jake P. James, Daniel F. Cicio, Vincent A. Cicio and Suzanna E. Cicio. His Brother Anthony Cicio Sr. (Bonnie), his sister Annie Cicio, and many treasured nieces and nephews. Buddy attended John Carroll Catholic High School, served in the United States Army “Korean Conflict”, a member of the American Legion, Son’s of Italy Foundation. In America, was a charter member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. He retired after over 50 years of employment as a Supervisor in grocery distribution. He was also an avid Alabama Football Fan who loved fishing, hunting, and was very dedicated to his family and his faith in God. Funeral services were held at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church and Southern Heritage Funeral Home, Pelham, AL where his online visitation and condolence page is available.
