Fred was a graduate of Ensley High School and served in the US Navy.
After his time in the Navy he went into the field of construction where he worked in the Birmingham area before going to Texas and New Jersey where he passed away. He is survived by his son Brant Ryan Gollotte. Freds, brothers John M. Gollotte, of Sylvan Springs, Edward J. Gollotte (Beverly) of Columbiana Sister Esther F. Palmer (Rick) Summerville, South Carolina and brother John H. Gollotte Jr. of Tuscaloosa. Step daughters Lacy McBride and Brittny Zanikos. Numerous nieces and nephews. Fred is to be buried in the National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama. At this time a date of internment has not been set. Please check the Southern Heritage website for the date to be announced.
