He was born in Charleston, West Virginia, on April 12, 1954. Glen graduated from Ensley High School.
Glen built a long and dedicated career in printing sales, working with Craftsman Printing, DMS Color, Shelby Printing, and Print USA. He was known for his strong work ethic and the relationships he built throughout his career.
Glen Bevis, a true vacation connoisseur, he found joy in every journey—whether it was a carefully planned getaway or a spontaneous trip made special simply by being together. More than anything, he loved spoiling his children, delighting in their happiness and creating memories they will carry with them forever.
He was the kind of person everyone wanted by their side—especially on a shopping trip—earning the title of “best shopping buddy” with ease. His enthusiasm for life carried into his work, which he didn’t just do, but deeply loved. His job was more than a career; it was a passion that reflected his dedication, energy, and pride.
He had a gift for storytelling, often bringing his high school days to life with vivid detail and humor. Those stories, told time and time again, never grew old—because he had a way of making every retelling feel new. He was hilarious, effortlessly drawing laughter from those around him, and his presence naturally commanded attention in any room.
Perhaps most unforgettable was his contagious laugh—a sound that could lift spirits instantly and spread joy to everyone within earshot.
He will be remembered for his warmth, his humor, his love for his family, and the way he made ordinary moments feel extraordinary. His legacy lives on in the laughter he shared, the stories he told, and the deep love he gave so freely.
He had a deep love for music, sports, and, above all, his family.
Glen is survived by his children: Jamie Jones (Scott), Chad Bevis, Tiffany Cleckler (Adam), Morgan Sosnowchik (Sam), and Chelsea Feilds. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Camryn, Braden, Abby, Chloe, Ashlyn, Jay, Ethan, Erron, Hailey, and Avery.
He is survived by his sister, Pam Thomas, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and the mother of his children, Jennifer Bevis.
