Hayden John Mayer, age 4, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2015. He very much enjoyed the park, riding his bike and playing baseball, and building with his legos. Hayden also liked playing with his fire trucks, police cars, ambulances and his “choo-choos.” Some of his favorite entertainment included Peppa Pig, Thomas and Friends, Sesame Street, Frozen and Despicable Me. Hayden loved church music and loved to dance. He loved brushing his mommy’s hair. Hayden loved helping people and loved life.
Hayden is survived by his parents, Julia Jones and Edward Mayer; grandparents, Kim (Gama)and Donald (Papa) Jones, and Peggy and Steve Loomis; uncles, Joey Swagart, Michael Swagart and Mason Johnson; aunts, Michaela Jones, Nancy Swagart and Julie Wahl; and cousins, Owen Swagart and Isaac Swagart. He also leaves behind many adoring family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
The celebration of Hayden’s life will be at 2pm on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at a visitation beginning at 12 noon.
