A graduate of Ramsay High School in Birmingham (1965) and Emory University (1969), she is survived by her husband of 52 years, David; sons Christopher (Rebecca), and Michael (Paula); and grandchildren Alexander, Sarah, Samuel, Katherine, and Connor.
The embodiment of unselfish, unconditional love, she will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate gifts in her name to the Parkinson’s Foundation (www.parkinson.org).
