Margo graduated from Clifton College, TX. She met the love of her life, Bud Etherington, in Seattle, WA in 1943, and they were married in Pratt, KS in 1944. They enjoyed traveling worldwide, dancing, and entertaining their friends, and were happily married 69 years until Bud's passing in 2013. Margo enriched the lives of all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Survivors include Margo's son, Roger Etherington of Hoover; daughter, Carol Schultz of Reston, VA; five grandchildren, Ashley Etherington of Hoover, Nicholas Etherington of Atlanta, GA, Stacey Donald of Centerville, VA, Shawn Cotton of Locust Grove, VA, and Jeremy Cotton of Leesburg, VA; and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Vestavia Hills, AL. Visitation will immediately follow the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial gifts be made to the Episcopal Church of the Ascension, 1912 Canyon Rd., Vestavia Hills, AL 35216.
