Jackie graduated from Woodlawn High School. She was wedded to James Harbuck III on March 20, 1970, and they were happily married for many years.
Jackie worked for 60 years in the insurance industry and was known as the "Queen of Insurance." She loved her job and interacting with everyone. She had a special way of making everyone feel like they were her best friend.
Jackie was as passionate as it gets about football, especially the Alabama Crimson Tide. She was a member of Sweet Adeline's, a nationally and internationally performing singing group, for many years.
Survivors include Jackie's nephews, Jeff (Judy) Lockwood, Jack (Marina) Lockwood, and David Deason; her nieces, Kim Comer, Suzanne Baucom, and Sherry Lamb; and her brother-in-law, Fred Deason.
Jackie's family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama, and a private graveside service will be held later that day.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at Jackie Conn Harbuck's page at www.SouthernHeritageFunerals.com for her family.
