To say I love you is not enough. How do you tell someone how much they mean to you. You, my first friend. You were the first one to end our disagreements...always saying, "let's be friends." How thankful I am that you guided me. You never made me wonder if you loved me & always made sure I knew you were proud of me. Now, it's my turn to beam with pride...you have reached your greatest & final goal. I am proud of you, brother! You are and will be so missed, Jason. Our lives will always hold your place in them. It's so hard not to be sad that you're not here...and so wonderful to think of where you are. Give mom my love & know I  will keep fighting the good fight until we are together.

Hey Dad I love you so much! I will miss you a lot but I know you are home now! I know you are in the good Lords hands. I know you didn't make the best choices but neither did we back here on earth. I wish we could have gone fishing like you have talked about. We can do that when I come home. I love you Dad but I know you know that. I miss you so much. I'm glad that God has taken you home. I love you and I can't wait to see you again!

  When I read of Jason's death in the paper today, it was too late for me to make arrangements to attend. Nevertheless, I wanted to express my condolences and sympathy to you and your family. Although I have not seen either of you since your mother's funeral, I have thought of you many times.
  I especially think of Jason each Christmas when I unpack the treasured "Alabama Bear" Christmas ornament he autographed and gave me his eighth grade year. His quiet, well-mannered personality endeared him to all of the faculty at Chelsea Middle/High School and I know your teachers felt the same way about you too.
  May God comfort, protect and guide you and may His enduring peace surround you all now and in the days ahead.
