Jason "Brad" Nicholson of Highland Lakes, Shelby County Alabama, born on September 3, 1991 went to be with the Lord on May 19th, 2010 at the age of 18. He was a recent graduate of Briarwood Christian School- Class of 2010. An honor student, he was enrolled to study at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa this fall. He is predeceased by his Grandparents James & Stella Nicholson of Birmingham Al. He is survived by his loving parents, Rick & Cindy Nicholson and his brother and best friend Mark, his Grandparents Lewis & Diane Bice of Leeds, Al. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will all miss him dearly. Visitation is Sunday May 23, 2010 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, from 5:00-8:00pm for friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday May 24, 2010 at Briarwood Christian Church, viewing at 10:00 am and service will be at 11:00am with the burial to follow at Southern Heritage Cemetery. The family request in lieu of flowers, donations be made payable to Briarwood Christian School and designated to the Thomas Rivers, Jr. Warrior Scholarship Fund in memory of Brad Nicholson.
