After he graduated from Monache High School in Porterville, California in 1999, Joseph enlisted in the U.S. Army and performed peacekeeping duties in Bosnia. He had a long-term career in graphics/signage design and installation. He worked for Victory Display in California, Blue Ocean Custom Signs in Florida, and Utility Trailer Sales of Alabama. In his leisure, he enjoyed drawing, gaming, spending time in nature, and being with his family and friends.
Joseph is survived by his children, Serena Jane Zeller and Joseph Charles Zeller, IV; his mother, Tammie Krogh Loesch; his step-father, Robert Loesch; his grandfather, Merlyn Krogh (Sherry); his siblings, Sonja Zeller (David Stevens) and Michael Zeller (Diana); half-brother, Adam Zeller (Amanda ); step-brother, Bobby Loesch (Lindsey); nephews and nieces, Daniel, Mikaela, Sophie, David, Willow, and Lake; and many other close family and friends.
Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Joseph C. Zeller, Jr.; and grandparents, Joseph C. Zeller, Sr., Joan Zeller, and Darlene Ashworth.
Joseph's family will receive friends Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 80 St. Thomas Way, Montevallo, AL 35115, followed by the gravesite committal service with military honors at 1:15 p.m. at Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo.
