Judy LouEllen Chesser was born in Birmingham, AL and lived in Talladega, Oneonta, and Atlanta, GA, where she taught school before moving to New York and working as a flight attendant for 30 years, mostly with T.W.A. She returned to Hoover, AL to care for her ailing mother.
Judy was a University of Alabama graduate who lived an interesting and full life. She traveled the world over and safaried in Kenya while using her talents as a photographer and artist.
Judy is survived by her sister, Alyce Chesser of Greenville, SC; and her brothers, Randy Chesser (Barbara) of Prattville, AL and Steve Chesser of Hoover. Also survived by five nieces and nephews, whom she dearly loved. She had beloved friends worldwide.
A Celebration of Judy’s life will be at 12 noon on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL, immediately followed by visitation at the funeral home. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham.
