Kathryn Brodie, age 87, passed away September 4th, 2015. She was born December 6, 1927 in Pleasant Grove, AL to Margie and Onie Clifton. Kathryn married William S. Brodie Jr. in 1948 in Birmingham, AL; they were happily married for 53 years. Kathryn is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Brodie; parents, Margie and Onie Clifton; two brothers, Jack and Jerry Clifton; and sister, Margaret Mitchell. Kathryn is survived by her children, Bill Brodie (Julia), Gale Brodie, and Carolyn Cash; sister, Marie Moore; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Sunday the 6th at 10am with a visitation starting one hour prior.
