Daddy: While I am still on this earth, I will miss seeing your smiling face every day and hearing your robust voice saying my name. I will miss calling you on the phone every day to talk about the days events, to tell one another good night and you always being my alarm clock, waking me up in the morning to get up and go to work. I will miss our talks and secret sharing and hearing "I love you, Monkey. But that does not mean that we will not talk every day still, because I will talk to you and I know you will hear me and I know you will still guide me in the right direction and still watch over me and still take care of me. You will always be with me inside my heart and soul while I am here. And I will continue to make you proud...ALWAYS.  When I see you again we will once share our lives together. We will miss you Uncle Punk! As for me, you left nothing but fond memories. Spent time tonight thinking about when I was a kid and you and Aunt Sherry first started dating (or at least when you started bringing her around). Us young boys liked her a lot, she was so pretty.

And thought about that white 1965 Mustang and how much you loved it.

You will be remembered well and missed by many. May you rest in peace.

Your parents have always been so special. To this day, we can't eat Butter Beans or Play Cards without floods of wonderful memories! The dune buggy rides, running the trail on the motorcycles, searching garage sale bargains or digging up wild flowers, those fun memories have always kept us close no matter the miles or years.  Ken was such a great friend and neighbor and we are so blessed to have had him in our lives.  We miss him but take comfort knowing the "two peas in a pod" are together.

Daddy...it's me - Kellie.  I just want you to know that I miss you terribly.  I went to your house today and it was hard being there without you being there too.  I know you are so happy right now being with mamma and I know wish I could see the reunion, but I can feel it.  God truly blessed me when he picked me to be your daughter.  You made my life so happy and full from the day I was born and you will continue to do so because I know you and mamma will be watching over me.  I hope I continue to make you proud.  It made me feel so good when you told me last week just how proud of me you were.  My heart is scattered in a million pieces and I don't know how I will get through the rest of my life without you in it, but I know that you and mom, along with God will continue to give me strength every day.  I love you so much daddy and it was just 72 hours ago that you told me "I love you Monkey...bye bye"...all my life, every minute spent with you meant the world to me, but the last weeks when I was with you 6 days in the hospital and every spare minute when you were in rehab and every morning and afternoon and every weekend, those times I will treasure most...our conversations, our shared secrets, feeling you wrap your arms around me and giving me really big hugs and the kisses on the cheek and little lip smackaroos, oh how much every second meant to me...nothing can replace those special moments.  Save a place for me, I will see you and mamma again.  I LOVE YOU and please make sure you shower mom with kisses and hugs from me.
