

The Waltec retiree was known as "Mr. Ken" to his friends and customers at Ace Hardware, Helena.
Ken was a WWII Veteran who served in the South Pacific. He was an active member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church in Birmingham, AL who loved his church family. He served as an usher, on the Prayer Committee, and in the Love, Care, Serve S.S. Class. He was formerly a member and ordained deacon at Hunter Street Baptist Church.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father and mother, Burl and Myrtle Logan; two sisters, Virginia Baker and Gail Oslin; and one brother, Morey Logan.
Survivors include Kenneth's wife of almost 61 years, Frances Logan; three daughters, Debbie (Joe) Tidwell, Sharon (Mike) Little, and Nicki (Shawn) McAbee; six grandchildren, Richard (Lynette) Tidwell, Brooke (Hayes) Kearbey, Allison Little, Cameron Little, Emily McAbee, and Hallie McAbee; and five great-grandchildren.
Vistation will be one hour before the 11 a.m. Celebration Service on Monday, October 6, 2014 at Shades Mountain Baptist Church, Birmingham. The private graveside service will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, AL.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to one of the following charities: "Make Jesus Known" at Shades Mountain Baptist Church, SMBC Hand in Hand Special Needs Ministry, or Red Mountain Grace.
