Kosta Nick Sarris, age 67, of Helena, AL, passed away Saturday June 4, 2016. He was born in Athens, Greece and was the third of four sons. Kosta traveled to the US when he was 18 years old with his family.
Kosta was preceded in death by his parents Nick and Vasou Sarris and an older brother George Sarris. He is survived by his wife, Tricia Boackle Sarris. He was a loving father to his three children, Dena Sarris DeSantis-Steve DeSantis, Nicholas Kosta Sarris-Rachel Sarris, Christopher Kosta Sarris-Chelsea Sarris. He was a very attentive and loving Pappou to his four grandchildren, Nathan, Alexa, Elizabeth and Scarlett. His beloved brothers Angelo and Manuel Sarris.
There will be a service at St. Elias Maronite Catholic Church, 836 8th St S, Birmingham, AL 35205, on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. Visitation will be from 12-2pm followed by Mass. Burial will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery.
