Larry Dwayne Bryant

Larry graduated from Christian Heritage School and attended Jefferson State Community College. He worked in construction for the family’s business, Francis Bryant and Sons, for over 50 years. He was a builder to his core and spent many hours building playhouses, bicycles, and toy cars for his children and grandchildren.

In his leisure, Larry also enjoyed reading, traveling, gardening, and visiting the lake with his family. His love of traveling led him to countries all across Europe, where he marveled at ancient castle ruins and medieval architecture. One of his great pleasures was trying new restaurants and a great meal.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Jean and Francis Bryant, and his son, Eric Dwayne Bryant. He leaves behind to cherish his memory: His wife, Cindy Barrow Bryant, to whom he was married on May 1, 1976; daughters, Ashley (Jack) Lawrence and Stephanie Adams; grandsons, Jackson and Grayden Lawrence; and granddaughters, Avery and Madeline Adams.

A visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124.

A private service will be had at a later date.
