Larry Gray Warbington, 68, life-long resident of Alabama, passed away Friday morning, July 1, 2016. Born in Tuscaloosa, he was a devoted family man, an avid outdoorsman and hunter, and a passionate Crimson Tide football fan.
A U.S. Army veteran, Larry earned his undergraduate degree at The University of Alabama before starting his sales career that spanned over 50 years and included small business ownership.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Buddy and Margaret Warbington. Survivors include Larry's wife, Jan Warbington; two children, daughter Jesse Warbington and son Jake Warbington; one sister, Linda Walters; and one brother, Sam Warbington.
Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL, immediately followed by the 3 p.m. Celebration of Larry's Life in Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham. Rev. James E. Elliott, Jr. will officiate, and honorary pallbearers will be his brothers-in-law, nephews, and members of his college fraternity, Delta Chi.
