She was born in Tallassee, Alabama on May 24, 1966 to the late Richard and Elizabeth Cornelius.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Ryan McRae; her grandchildren, Brantley Keith McRae and Haisley Ann McRae; her brothers, Randy Cornelius and David Cornelius; along with other dear family members, Amanda Hampton, Emily Peters, Taylor Grater, Chase Gower, Lynzy Gower, and Ashley Overstreet. She is also survived by her furbabies, Dixie and Jake.
Laura was the Director of Radiology at Bibb County Medical and when not working she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Brantley and Haisley.
A visitation for Laura will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, Alabama 35124, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Laura will be laid to rest in Southern Heritage Cemetery.
