Leonard Marshall Ford, age 68, resident of Alabaster, AL, passed away on December 31, 2024, at home. Marshall, son of the late Leonard Monroe Ford and Margaret Louise (Norris) Ford was born March 31, 1956, in Landstuhl, Germany. He graduated from Baker High School in Columbus, GA in 1974.
Marshall was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son, Alexander Ford, his sister, Margaret “Cookie” Goleman, and two brothers, Ronald Ford and Richard Ford.
Marshall enjoyed spending time with his son, Alex, and never missed a opportunity to let his friends and family know how proud he was of him. Marshall also enjoyed his work of many years as a bus driver for Alabaster City Schools.
Funeral services are scheduled at Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 7, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, starting at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, online at https://www.stjude.org/donate or by mail at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
