Linda Forsythe Dunn was born on October 8, 1951, to the union of Herbert Leo Forsythe and Dorothy Louise Forsythe in Fort Bragg, NC. Linda attended Hueytown High School. She graduated from Birmingham Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama. Linda was a member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church. She married Samuel Dunn on February 3, 1973, in Birmingham, Alabama. Their union was blessed with one child. She was an Elementary and Middle School Teacher for 30 years. In her leisure, she enjoyed watching her Son's Teams and spending time with her grandchildren. She was an accomplished artist who started "Simply Hope Art" to share the Hope of Christ through her paintings.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Dunn. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Casey Dunn; grandchildren, Sam and Linlee Dunn; her brother, Herb Forsythe.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023, at Dawson Baptist Church at 2:00 pm.
