Marcy was born in Fairfield, Alabama, on January 25, 1972, to Rick McLain and Patricia Wallace Game. She attended Midfield High School and Jacksonville State University. Marcy worked as a Lab Technician for the Alabama Department of Public Health.
She adored being the mother of her two boys, Cameron and Connor, and “Emmy” to her grandson, Malachi. Marcy was the best friend anyone could ask for and tried to solve any problems they may have had. She was a wonderful caregiver who had a heart of gold. She loved her work and her coworkers so much. Her soft spot and love for animals would lead her to bring home strays, care for them, and then find them their forever homes.
Preceding Marcy in death is her father, Rick McLain; her grandparents, Mildred and JE Wallace; and Sarah and Thomas McLain.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Richard Haynes; her two sons, Jonathon Cameron Haynes and Connor Benjamin Haynes; her grandson, Malachi Wyatt Haynes; her mother, Patricia Wallace Game; her brother, Rick Wilkins; her sisters, Lisa Steeley; and Sydney McLain; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves behind her beloved little dog, “Pete,” who is so lost without her.
Marcy knew the Lord, giving the family a feeling of peace and comfort that only He can give. Knowing that we will all be reunited again someday gives great joy. Marcy will be missed by all who were lucky enough to love and know her. Fly high, our Angel, you are loved by all your family, and you will forever be in their hearts.
A visitation will be held at Ridout’s Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a celebration of Marcy’s life beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Bold Springs Presbyterian Cemetery.
