Marilyn and her husband of 29 years, Gerald R. Metros, were members of Cornerstone Church in Helena, Alabama. Marilyn retired from the Human Resources department of Alabama Power Company in 1994. She had a strong faith in Christ and her sweet spirit touched many lives.
Marilyn is survived by her husband Gerald; daughter, Molly Boggan Smith (Brent); sister, Sharon Parks; stepdaughter, Lisa Wade (Shane); stepsons, Adam (Angela) and Craig (Gina) Metros; grandchildren, Abigail and Caroline Smith, Bradleigh (Nick) Heady, Emma and Dylan Metros, Casi Roberson, Hunter (Katie), Nolan and Morgan Fuqua; nephews Michael Galloway and Kent Parks and several great grandchildren.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Annie Lou Grantham, stepdaughter, Laura Fuqua (Mick) and step grandson, Brian Roberson.
Memorial service will be held at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama on November 21st, visitation at 1:00pm with service to follow at 2:00pm.
