Mark Andrew Franks, Sr.

He was a deeply loved husband, father, and grandfather. Mark graduated from John Carroll High School and attended Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. He was the owner of Franks Produce, Inc. for 33 years where he cultivated many life-long friendships with customers. More than anything Mark loved his family and was the best husband, father, and grandfather. Mark loved sports and coached youth athletics for many years. He enjoyed watching kids excel and perform to their best capability. Mark was also an avid runner and loved UA athletics.

He leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Sally Robins Franks; children, Stephanie (Dale) Massey, Mark Jr. (Shelby) Franks, and Anthony Franks; grandchildren, Sara and Abbey Kate Massey, Andrew, Michael, and Alexander Franks; brothers, Donnie (Jean) Franks, Ray (Melody) Franks, and Steve (Rosemary) Franks; nephew, Jimmy (Karen) Huntsinger; sisters, Dena (Wallace) Parker, and Gina (Phil) Heard; and many loved nieces, nephews, and friends and neighbors that he loved as family. His loving parents Lena and Frankie Franks precede Mark in death.
