Mary Lynn was also predeceased by one son, Russell Jeffrey Cowles; and the father of her children, Robert Cowles Sr.
Survivors include Mary Lynn's two sons, Robert Cowles Jr. of Meridian, Mississippi, and Michael Cowles (Amber) of Bessemer, Alabama; grandchildren, Elli Cowles, Jake Cowles, Claire Cowles, and Carter Cowles; sister, Debbie Payne; nieces, Angela Brewer and Denise Ingoldsby; and one nephew, Jay Payne.
Mary Lynn will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. We know she is at peace now, shouting a big “Roll Tide” and reminding us to live well, be kind, but most of all, “Don’t let the cat out!”
