She was born on September 26, 1932, in Thomasville, Alabama, to the late Marvin and Rose Robison. In 1953, she married Charles DeVane Powell in Grove Hill, Alabama. Their union was blessed with one son.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Charles DeVane Powell; her son, Terry Powell and wife Sondra; and two grandsons, Jared Powell and Tyler Powell.
Visitation will be held at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Friday, January 27, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Southern Heritage Cemetery.
