Naomi Eugenia Maddox Faught, 90 of Chelsea, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015. Mrs. Faught was greatly loved and will be dearly missed. The family has been blessed with many who have helped care for Naomi, including a team of caregivers and the caring and compassionate staff of Alacare Hospice.
Mrs. Faught is preceded in death by her parents, Alice Lema Foster and Charles Edward Maddox; her husband of 62 years, Edsel Faught; two sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her children, Yvette Faught of Vestavia, Nancy Murphree (George) of Huntsville and David Faught (Gail) of Chelsea; grandchildren, Kelli Ketchum (Earl), Leslie Smith (Scott), Brad Murphree and Wes Murphree (Lauren); great grandchildren, Riley, Grayden and Cannon Ketchum, Logan, McKenzie and Adley Smith, and Kaitlyn Murphree; many nieces, nephews and a special friend, Glenda Berryman.
The celebration of Naomi's life will be at 10am on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Oakhill Cemetery in Jasper. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6pm until 8pm on Friday evening at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham.
