

On Thursday, March 5, 2020, Nina went home to the Lord at the age of 83. She is survived by her son James Terry Isaminger and his wife Karen H Isaminger, her daughter Cynthia Marie Carrigan and her husband Pat Carrigan.
Nina had five grandchildren James Terry Isaminger JR, Jennifer Love Brunson, Jacob Preston Isaminger, Justin Mathew Isaminger, Harris Carrigan, and 15 great grandchildren her sister Mary Lee Gilland and her husband Charles, six nephews and two nieces.
Nina was born in Memphis, TN on January 19, 1937. In Memphis she was very active in church, had an active family life, and was a graduate of Messick High School, She moved to Birmingham in 1956 and later received an associate’s degree from Sanford University. She was a housewife where she provided a loving home for Terry and Cindy and later was employed by the Alabama Baptist Children Home where she retired.
Nina was an active member of Hunter Street Baptist Church, and loved being a part of Joy-full singers going on all their mission trips, and spreading the word of Christ our Lord through music. She was an active member of the Hoover Senior Citizen organization and loved to ballroom dance. She most of all enjoyed family gatherings and trips with Cindy.
Visitation will be held in the Chapel at Hunter Street Baptist on Tuesday March 10th from 1 PM to 1:45 PM with a service to celebration her life to follow. Fond memories can be added on this site. In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to the Presleigh Copper Isaminger Scholarship Fund at Hoover High School or Joyfull Singers at Hunter Street Baptist Church.
