Oley Bryant Kelley

Oley Bryant Kelley was born on February 2, 1934 to the union of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hartwell Kelley in Red Level, AL. Oley received his formal education at Red Level School in Red Level, AL. He furthered his education at Jones Law School in Montgomery, AL. Oley was a member of Shades Crest Baptist Church. Oley was united in holy matrimony with Elzie Rose Quillan on December 22, 1954 in Hope Arkansas. Their union was blessed with three children, Larry, Wendell and Gary. He was employed with Liberty National Life Insurance for 19 years. He was also employed by Kelley Mullis Wealth Management as President for 20 years. In his leisure, he enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, going on cruises, golf, hunting with his son, Larry and helping others.

Oley is survived by his two sons, Gary and Wendell; his brothers, James, Robert and Dwight; his sisters, Era Richards, Alberta Cashon, Hellon Kelley and Norma Jean Wallace; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A visitation for Oley will be held Friday, May 21, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124 followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.

A reception will be held in the chapel, immediately following the graveside service at Southern Heritage Cemetery.
