Paul "Frank" Hoult

Frank served in the U.S. Navy for several years in the early 1970’s. He returned from the Navy to attend the University of Alabama-Hunstville, graduating in 1978 with his BSBA in Business Management. He later went back and furthered his education at Wallace State Community College where he graduated in 1983 with an Associates Degree in Computer Science.

Frank married the love of his life, Sandra Lee Hoult, on August 17, 1979. They spent 45 beautiful years together. They were both members of the Helena Church of Christ in Helena, Alabama.

Frank spent much of his adult life after college first in the insurance industry and later as a worker’s compensation agent for the State of Alabama. In his free time, he enjoyed collecting coins and talking on and working on Ham radios. He was known for a long time at church services as “the guy” who handed out the bulletins.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Otis Frederick Hoult and Pauline Lowery Hoult; his sister, Emma Katherine Hoult; and his loving wife, Sandra Lee Hoult.

He is survived by his “adopted” kids, Chris and Katie Prosser, and “adopted” grandkids Christopher, Caleb, Cason, Chloe, and Christian Prosser.

A Service of Remembrance for Frank Hoult will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124. The gravesite committal service will also be Saturday, January 10, and will be at the cemetery at First Baptist Church of Fairview, 1022 Welcome Road, Cullman, AL 35058.
