

Richard G. Glover of Helena, Alabama, passed away on May 5, 2025, at the age of 74. Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 11, 1950, Richard spent much of his life in Alabama, where he built a career, and pursued his many passions.
A graduate of Huntsville High School, Richard went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University. He dedicated much of his professional life to NASA in Huntsville, contributing to the agency's mission with dedication and pride.
Richard shared 22 wonderful years with his partner, Monica Josephson. He was a man of many interests and loved spending time outdoors—especially motorcycle riding, fishing, golfing, hunting, kayaking, and hiking. His adventurous spirit and love for life were evident in everything he did.
He is survived by his children, Brett Josephson (Katy), Meridyth Smith (Gregg), and Joelle Webb (Tim); his beloved grandchildren, Alexia Webb, Braden Josephson, Brennen Josephson, Bowen Josephson, Gavin Smith, Garrett Smith, Kaitlin Shook, and River Webb; and his sisters, Barbara Nelson and Carol Jameson. He will be remembered for his warmth, adventurous heart, and the deep love he had for his family and friends.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, June 7, from 1:00 - 5:00 PM at the Harley Davidson HOG Room in Pelham, Alabama, to honor Richard’s memory and the many lives he touched.
