Rio came to the United States from Italy at the age of 18. He landed in New York and later served in the Army where he was stationed in Germany. He moved to Birmingham where he lived out his life, doing what he loved; dressing the men in their finest from The Cambridge Shop. He loved tennis, dancing, relaxing at the beach with his buddies, and piddling in the yard, but mostly he loved his family.
“To the world you may just be a person, but to us you are our world”
In lieu of flowers, his passion was The Foundry and Disabled Veterans.
