Roger Dale Clayton, 74 of Alabaster, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018. Mr. Clayton was born in Helena, AL. Mr. Clayton is preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Virginia Clayton; brother, Wayne Clayton and sister, Betty Hamm. He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Clayton; children, Jason Clayton (Beth), Lilly Clayton, Jennifer Turner (Sammy) and Sherry Schulz (Eric); sister, Louise Clayton Giovinco; grandchildren, Chad and Haley Clayton, Hannah Rose, Emma Kate and Sophie Turner, Savannah Plunkett, and Autumn, Jessica and Roger Schulz; and great grandchildren, Eli James Sheridan and Harper Elizabeth Pastor; and a host of nieces and nephews. The celebration of Roger's life will begin with a visitation from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, followed by a 1:30 pm graveside service at Helena City Cemetery.
