Roger, a U.S. Army veteran, was predeceased by his father, James Edward Cox, Jr. Survivors: Roger's wife, Teresa; mother, Nora Lee; daughters, Kourtney, Candace, Kristy, and Stacy; sons, David, Josh, and Matthew; grandchildren, Steven, Tanner, Meleah, Tyler, Blake, Anna, Emily, Kayleigh, Jacob, Aiden, and Caressa; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Hunter, and Ryder; sister, Gail; and brother, Doug.
Visitation: 1-2 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2016, Pleasant Site Baptist Church off County Road 43 in Sterrett, AL, immediately followed by 2 p.m. funeral Sunday at the church. Burial at the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Eric Brasher to officiate.
