Ron was born on July 30, 1948, in Washington, D.C. He married the love of his life, Kathryn "Kathy" Willey, on March 20, 1968, beginning a marriage that lasted 58 years.
Ron built a successful career in the automotive industry, working in management at Crown Automobile, where his leadership skills and commitment for the business eventually led him to become a part-time owner.
Outside of his professional life, Ron was an avid competition target shooter.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and June Willey.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy Willey; his son, Brian Willey (Thao); his siblings, Linda Willey Lowe (John Lowe) and Allen E. Willey (Dawn).
A visitation will be held at Southern Heritage Funeral Home on February 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 AM.
