Samuel Walter Harbison

"Sam" attended Clay Chalkville High School and received his GED. Shortly after, he started a successful career in landscaping, ultimately promoted to foreman and crew leader. He was employed at PCL Landscaping in Trussville, Alabama and later at Thrive Landscaping in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Sam was passionate about the Word of God, recording Christian rap music, ministry to others, fishing, being with family, cooking, writing music and poetry, performing rap music, being outdoors, and admiring sunsets.

He is survived by his parents, Madelyn and Gary Harbison; his wife, Julia Taylor Harbison, to whom he was married on October 9, 2023; his sisters, Melissa Harbison Stano and Sara Harbison; and his brothers, Andrew Joseph Harbison and Stephen Daniel Harbison.

The memorial service was held December 21, 2023 at 6 p.m. at Gracepoint Church.
