Sue became the bride of Billy Cooper Kennedy on October 27, 1951. In Birmingham, they are members of First Baptist Church of Hoover.
Survivors include Sue's husband, Billy; one son, John Kirby Kennedy (Donna); one daughter, Kyle Kennedy McNorton (Craig); and three grandchildren, David Kirby Kennedy, Michael Wayne Kennedy, and Colleen Kaitlyn McNorton.
Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2014 in Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham, and burial will follow in Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Greater Birmingham Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
