Tressa Patterson Jackson, age 52, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on May 12, 2013. She was a very trustworthy, forgiving, strong-willed person. She loved Christmastime with her family, especially Jared and Blake, and was a dedicated friend. She was able to establish a law career. Tressa was a true Auburn fan, and enjoyed vacations and sunny days. Most of all she enjoyed life! She was preceded in death by her father, Sydney Patterson, and sister, Amanda Patterson. She is survived by her sons, Jared and Blake Jackson; and mother, Joan Patterson; and sisters, Susan Patterson and Kim Patterson. Celebration of Life Services will be at Southern Heritage Funeral Home Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 10 a.m. with burial in Valley Hill Cemetery in Pell City. Visitation will be on Wednesday, 9-10 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
