Sue graduated from Jones Valley High School. Her professional career was in medical billing for UAB Pediatrics. She was an active member of Community Baptist Church in Maylene, Alabama, and an avid participant in local square dancing organizations.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas L. Sizemore and Vonnie Vines Sizemore, and her brother, Tommy Sizemore. She is survived by her two sons, John W. Buttram Jr. (Marisa) and Jeffery Scott Buttram (Angie); and three grandchildren, Emily Mullinax (Blake), Tessa Burrows (Chaz), and Luke Buttram. Sue loved and cherished all of her family, but she especially enjoyed spending time with her three great-grandchildren, Kannon and Mallie Mullinax, and Asher Burrows.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama from 9-10 a.m., followed by A Service of Remembrance at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham.
