"Pete" will be missed. I often think of the wonderful times he and Sophia and I had in the Central Park Church in our teen years and afterwards. Even though our lives took separate paths I never have forgotten his kindness and caring.

I was so sorry to hear about Pete.  He was a long time family friend and was always by our side during the good times, as well as the bad times.  He was there to offer comfort when needed and encouragement.  When I married in 1975, Pete not only performed the ceremony, but offered words of advice that would mean a lot in the coming years.  My sympathy to Pete's family.

I knew Pete most of my life.  He was a counselor and friend to myself and two brothers for many years, and I will always remember his sensitivity and infectious smile.  He was one of those few people you knew genuinely cared.  He will be remembered and missed greatly.

I just learned of Pete's passing. Pete was a great man and long time family friend. He performed our marriage 26 years ago. Our family will miss this truly great man. Our prayers go out to the entire Clifford family

Pete was so special to our family while serving as pastor at Wilson Chapel.  He  and   the familly are in our prayers.

Almost twenty years ago, Pete and I were driving around Atlanta while our wives attended a conference. Two things stand out about that day. First, he knew a lot about the cannons at the Kennasaw Mountain Civil War battlefield we visited.  I asked him why.  "Well my great great grandfather had a leg blown off by a cannon in that war." Second, he said at one point "Let me be your dad" knowing my father had passed away recently. It meant a lot. Pete was generous in spirit that way.

A candle for you to remember all the light you brought to us during your time at Wilson Chapel.

Just learned today that Pete is now with Jesus and the Father. So many memories have come flooding back from the neighborhood of Wilson Chapel Church. Pete has always been special in my heart though I have not talked with him since my father's funeral in 1985. He also officiated my mother's funeral in 1970 (George and Carmen Wood from Balcourt Dr). Pete and Sophie were much loved by all of us!Thank you for all you gave of yourselves to our community. I, for one, will never forget.

We were very blessed to have Pete and Sophia as our neighbors for the past twenty years. We will miss his friendly greetings and positive attitude. Our thoughts are with his family. Heidi and John Strauss

Sophia, we mourn your loss and celebrate Pete's love for The Lord Jesus.  I will never forget the first time meeting Pete at Southeastern Bible College, I felt like he had been a friend for years.

Pete got me into the Boy Scouts-Troop # 1,he even signed off on my Second Class rank card. Haven't seen him in 50 yrs, but isn't it odd that a death can suddenly bring back so many good memories with friends. In the BSA we hiked,camped ans sang silly songs. I am saddened to learn of Pete' death and think of his family- but thanks for the memories Pete.

Worked with Pete several times in church services and weddings (me as organist) and always appreciated him and his message.  He gave me a copy of his wedding service outline that we used in our wedding 38+ years ago.  Rest in God, Pastor Clifford.

Pete, I wished I had gone to more of your sermons and soaked up the sunshine that you gave so freely. You were always there for me even though I was not in your pews and lifted my heart whenever I turned to you.  You married me twice to put me where I really belonged. I am crying for your family's loss and mine; but, I bet you are so happy where you are now and you are the one soaking up the sunshine this time.

Pete, God bless you, you have always been there for my family in our time of need and sorrow. Thanks for the many lessons you taught me as my preacher and neighbor. We will miss you.

Pete was such a special person in all of our familiy's lives.  We are very sorry to hear of his passing and will truly miss him.  He touched every one of us in so many ways...whether it was traveling, weddings or funerals he was always there when we called on him.  We loved him dearly.  Now he can be reunited with Aunt Louise and mother on their final journey.  May peace be with all of you during this difficult time.  Please keep in touch.  We will be praying for you.

Pete was such a special minister who was always there when you needed him.  Rita and I will always remember the heart he had for the children and how each Sunday morning he would sit with his Box surrounded by the children where he would reveal a special item he used as part of the children's lesson for the week.  We always knew the lesson was as much for us as for the kids. Pete is healed now and with his heavenly Father so Sophia we want you to know that we love you and your family and we pray for God's comfort in you time of need.  Jesus loves you Pete Clifford and so do we.

I mourn his loss and celebrate his welcoming into God's loving arms.  Pete and his family blessed my life in so many ways.  God Bless you all.  You will always hold a special place in my heart.

Katrina, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad.  I only just found out about 20 minutes ago from my Dad who read it in the Obituaries. I'm stuck at work and can't make the funeral, but you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
