William Brantley Cleveland III

William Brantley Cleveland III (Billy), 71, of Alabaster, Alabama, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 27, 2025. Born June 4, 1954 in Birmingham, Alabama, he was the son of the late Bill and Nell (Hardin) Cleveland.

Billy was a graduate of Ensley High School, a proud Eagle Scout, and a devoted member of his church and family.

He is survived by his two brothers, Ted (Gantt Cookson) and Jerry (Tricia), and their two children, Mitch (Lindy) and Jamie Stone (Brett), as well as his beloved great-nephews and great-nieces: Grady, Brooks, Nellie, Ruthie and Sophie.

Billy’s incredibly kind spirit, generosity, and compassion touched the lives of many people. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, Alabama. There will be a viewing from 10-11 a.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home, which adjoins the cemetery.
