He is survived by his spouse of 51 years, Vicky Bright; two daughters, Jamie Stevens (Brooks) and Jeanna Hockenberry (Bracken); son, Billy Bright (Kezia); four grandchildren, Brooks Stevens Jr., Caitlin Stevens, Austin Bright, and Gabriel Campbell; two great-grandchildren, Parker Stevens and Ryland Minor; three brothers, Larry Bright, Jerry Dockery, and Ronnie Gauldin; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Dixie Myers; and father, Thurston Bright.
A visitation will be held at Kilgroe Funeral Home on Thursday, July 10, beginning at 1:00pm, with a chapel service to follow at 2:00pm. He will be laid to rest at St. Clair Memorial Gardens.
