Bill is survived by his daughters: Oweda Faye Moritz (Keith) and Anita Kay Covey; his son: Billy F. Hopkins, Jr (Anne); 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Jewell Marie Hopkins. He worked for Phillips Petroleum Company and retired after 36 years of service. He was also the owner and operator of BJ Produce in Pell City.
A visitation for Bill will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Kilgroe Funeral Home with a celebration of life funeral service to follow. An interment will occur Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Valley Hill Memorial Gardens.
