

Hassan Ramadan, 72, of Cropwell, Alabama, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 24, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mohammed Hassan Ramadan and Zahia Aicha Ramadan, and his stepson, Maurice George Osborn.
Hassan was born on May 3, 1953, in the small mountain town of Chehime, Lebanon. He later moved to Berlin, Germany, to attend college before embarking on a journey to the United States in 1980 in pursuit of the American dream. Through hard work, determination, and passion, he built a successful life and career. That same year, he met Shirley Ann Brewer, who became his loving and devoted wife of 45 years. Together, they made their home in Marietta, Georgia, for most of their lives before relocating to Alabama in 2025 to be closer to family.
In 1984, Hassan founded Admiral Travel Inc., an international travel agency, where he served as President. His career allowed him to pursue his passion for world travel. He was an active member of ARC, ASTA, and PATA, and he also served as treasurer for the Skal International Society.
Hassan was a multilingual world traveler whose adventures took him many places, including African safaris, dining on the French Riviera, and exploring Egypt with his son. He enjoyed playing golf, engaging in lively political discussions, and, most importantly, spending time with his family and friends. He had a deep love for Lebanese cuisine and cherished every opportunity to gather and celebrate with those he loved. He wholeheartedly loved his family and devoted his life to taking care of and providing for them. Hassan will be remembered for his generous spirit, vibrant personality, and his passion for living life to the finest and fullest.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley Ann Ramadan; his son, Joel Hassan Ramadan (Melissa); and his stepdaughter, Sheree Osborn Benner (Frank). He was a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren and step-grandchildren: Harper Ramadan, Paris Ramadan, Joel Ramadan, Jr., Alexander Ramadan, Dakota Benner, Lilyan Benner, Benjamin Lovett, Graham Lovett, and Carson Lovett.
